I have always been eager to learn, and I come from a long line of educators. But it was my father who raised me to truly love learning, and that is something I credit for much of my success in life.

My work today is grounded in more than 20 years in the education field. During that time, I have served as a principal, executive director, preschool franchise owner, and corporate regional manager supporting schools across seven states. Those experiences have shaped how I think about leadership, learning, growth, and the responsibility we have to the families and communities we serve.

I believe strong schools start with strong leaders. My work focuses on helping early childhood leaders build thriving teams, develop people, and create environments where both educators and children can grow. When leaders are clear, prepared, and supported, their schools become places where excellence is the standard and people love to work.

My personal mission is simple: change the world one human at a time. I believe the way we teach, lead, and invest in people shapes the future. I carry that mission not only through my work with educators and school leaders, but also in raising my 11-year-old son, Luz, who loves world history, book series, and all things sports.

I studied Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio and later earned my M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Austin.

At the heart of it all, everything I do comes back to people—how we learn from one another, how we grow, and how we choose to show up in the world. If I can help even one person see their potential more clearly and step into it with courage and kindness, then I know I am doing the work I was meant to do. When we take the time to teach, guide, and invest in others, we help them become the kind of humans who make the world better.
